Although the house is not open to the public, the gardens are; featuring numerous flower borders, stonework, water features, urns, orangery, vistas and all the kinds of things one expects in an old English manor-house garden. This painting was done in the company of an old friend who passed away in early 2007, not long after it's completion; so it's a special picture and not for sale.
