Golden orange light from the sunset washes through and over three large poppies; creating glowing shades of red, gold, yellow and orange. Below them, other
flowers gleam a deeper red and melt away into the shadows. A complementary deep blue sky presides at the top, while further below a burning yellow-white sun peers between the
three main flowers. Stem hairs reflect the evening light, shown by trace touches of gold paint.
