Golden Hour Poppies
SOLD. Original acrylic painting on box canvas; 60 x 60cm x 4cm depth (24 x 24 inches x 1.75 inches depth approx). No frame required. A bank of poppies in early evening, catching the light of the sun; creating sharp contrasts with some in bright light and others in the shadows. Metallic paints have been used to back-light the plants and catch the effect of sunshine on the tiny hairs of the stems.
