Daffodils and Blue Vase
Original oil-pastel painting on Colourfix textured paper. Size 19" x 13" approx (47cm x 32cm). Not currently framed.
This picture has been produced with artist-quality (Sennelier) oil-pastels on a toothy black paper. Oil-pastels are
pigments bound with a mineral oil to produce stick-forms; they are lightfast and brilliant in colour, remaining slightly
soft after application and therefore are best framed under glass. These daffodils and glass vase have been painted on a
black paper to emphasise the qualities of light in both glass and flowers. Beyond the window-pane is a garden shrub, in
more muted tones to give distance from the main subject.
Price: Unframed/unmounted; £70, to include UK delivery. Will be delivered flat, with protective board and covering paper over the image to prevent pressure-marks. If you would prefer it with a mount and frame, please contact.
