Autumn Cottage
Pastel on leaf-green Colourfix sanded paper; 10 x 8 inches approx. Several years ago I painted a small acrylic of the same cottage (which is a few miles from my home) and it still makes a nice subject in autumn. The cottage lies up against a woodland. The trees have grown rather more now, and changed shape, but I kept them small here. This picture took about an hour and a half to do, because I didn't have much time available. Considering the rushed time-frame, I'm quite pleased with it.
