Three Apples
Pastel on hand-textured card, using Colourfix primer. Size approx 13 x 9 inches. I find apples always make a nice still life subject; they've been painted millions of times by millions of people but never fail to provide interest. These three are on a cream-coloured plate; I forget which type of apple they are, but they are big and very stripey. These examples came from quite an old tree in my garden.
